IQRAA

Iqraa is a supportive educational program for children and youth in conflict zones in Syria, helping them overcome challenges through innovative and holistic approaches that address educational, psychological, and social aspects while enhancing engagement with parents, teachers, and all relevant stakeholders.

Program Objectives

Providing a Safe Learning Environment

Enabling children affected by crises to access alternative and secure educational opportunities that compensate for the loss of formal education.

Enhancing Psychological and Social Support

Implementing activities that provide psychological and social support for children and youth, helping them adapt to challenges, recover, and integrate into their communities.

Empowering Youth and Building Their Capacities

Developing the educational and professional skills of youth to enhance their active participation in community development and contribute to reconstruction efforts.

Delivery method

Establish safe educational centers in underserved areas, offering appropriate educational programs, while engaging parents in supporting the learning process and monitoring children’s progress.

Organize workshops and activities to build children’s skills and provide them psychological support, train teachers to work with crisis-affected children, and ensure the inclusion of children with special needs in education.

Offer workshops to develop life and professional skills for youth, and support youth-led community initiatives to enhance their role in the development and reconstruction of their communities.
