Abjad is a Social, educational, independent, neutral, civil, non-profit initiative.
we are in Abjad a group of men and women from around the world with diverse professional and academic backgrounds. We believe that human development begins in communities with knowledge and awareness. Through our community  we design and implement quality educational projects for children and youth worldwide, using a comprehensive approach that aims for the all-around development of children and youth, their sustainable livelihood, their integration into society, that enables them to participate in the mainstream development process and contributes to building a sustainable community through education.

Educating children is our mission, and we are proud to have been able to educate more than 500 boys and girls every year since 2020.
We aim to achieve our goal of continuing to provide better educational opportunities for 960 boys and girls in 3 schools in the camps in northern Syria... Because every child has the right to learn and build their future.

Your simple contribution can make a big difference. 📚

Sustainable Development Goals

Sustainable Development Goals

At the United Nations Sustainable Summit on September 25, 2015, the 2030 agenda for sustainable development was adopted as a “Plan of action for people, planet and prosperity”. The agenda includes a set of 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)* to end poverty, combat inequality and injustice, and tackle climate change by 2030 with an integrated and comprehensive vision that depends on each of its elements to succeed as a whole. This includes the fourth goal in the agenda “SDG 4” which we adopt in its entirety at Abjad.

Eid al-Adha Celebrations :

In Germany, the Abjad family celebrated Eid al-Adha with their children in the presence of 75 people.

In Syria, 600 students and fifty staff members from "Iqraa" program and Jasmine School participated in the Eid al-Adha celebration at the amusement park in Maarat Misrin. The event brought joy and created a fun atmosphere, strengthening the bond between students and teachers through experiences outside the classroom and creating shared memories. Additionally, it promoted the spirit of cooperation and teamwork among the students.

End of the school year activity

Students: Bright eyes filled with pride in their achievements. The school year comes to an end, but the experiences and unforgettable emotions we've lived through will remain. With 600 of our students, we share this joy in the camps of Iman and Al-Yara'a, where decorated classrooms and the clarity of knowledge dance with expressions of love and affection. We hope to continue persevering together, achieving even more in the coming year.

Staff: A recreational day gathers us with our Abjad family, where we catch up with everyone's news and get to know our new colleagues better. Various activities and segments take place, but the highlight is the honoring segment, where each employee feels their efforts and hard work are acknowledged and appreciated. Our day passes with games, food, exchanging news, and getting to know each other, renewing our vigor and determination.
