      ATHAR Program

      Athar is a social program that provides a vibrant, nurturing, and inspiring space led by youth, where they design and implement initiatives within a learning journey grounded in participation and hands-on experience. We operate with a horizontal vision that seeks to connect communities locally and in the diaspora by strengthening collective action and knowledge exchange. “Athar” works in complex environments but sees every challenge as an opportunity for learning and growth. It bets on the collective energy of youth and their ability to create real and sustainable change when given the right tools and space.

      Delivery method

      Host diverse youth gatherings and events that create safe spaces for dialogue and open discussion, encouraging a sense of belonging and civic participation.

      Deliver interactive training workshops in key areas such as education, community protection, psychosocial support, humanitarian work, and workforce readiness—helping young people gain the tools they need for active engagement and positive integration especially within diaspora communities.

      Build partnerships with civil society organizations to support community-driven initiatives.
      Provide meaningful volunteer opportunities that enable youth to gain practical experience and play an active role in driving change.
